Salisbury Democratic Town Committee Presents Scholarship
The Salisbury Democratic Town Committee presented its first scholarship to a Salisbury student on Saturday April 10,2010 at the Three Towns and Two Cities Democratic Breakfast featuring Gov. Deval Patrick and Congressman John Tierney.
Triton Regional High School senior Chloe Kealey was awarded the $500 scholarship by Scholarship Committee Chairman John
Housianitis. Kelley, daughter of Amy and Brian Kealey of Salisbury, will be attending St. Anselm's College in the fall,
majoring in international business. She was chosen from nine other applicants by the Scholarship Committee, which also
included Dianne Masiello and Mary Whitmore.
Salisbury Democrats hold food drive at spring town meeting.
The Salisbury Democratic Town Committee held its biannual food drive for the Pettengill House's Food Pantry in conjunction
with Salisbury's annual Town Meeting.
Thanks to all of the Salisbury residents for your support of the Pettengill House, which provides needed social services to
community members.
The Salisbury Democratic Town Committee is the local arm of the Democratic Party. The Salisbury Democratic Town Committee members share a common vision and values aligned with the principles of the Democratic Party.
The local Committee also directly serves the Salisbury community in a number of ways such as sponsoring food drives, awarding scholarships, and serving on local boards and commissions, to name just a few.
